A very enjoyable weekend that was voted a great success
| A Weekend in Combe Martin | |

| This spring, the club celebrated with a weekend away in Combe Martin. We were entertained royally in"The Poplars" hotel where "minehost" put on a song and dance act every evening assisted by numerous club members. Besides that we had a visit to the Lynton and Lynmouth Light Railway and visited the local Rotary Club.

| Douglas Dick held a "Champagne Event" in his garden and supervised a tasting of the real stuff and the imitations. A most interesting talk and a great opportunity to sample the various types including a pink champagne. | |||||||||
